Today had the pleasure of sitting down with Dr. Becky Kennedy. She is a clinical psychologist sought after parenting coach and mom of three.

Her new book is called Good Inside, a guide to becoming the parent you want to be.

Becky and I talked about what it means to be a conscious parent today. Her approach is to help parents see past a child's behavior and identify what is really going on underneath it.

Dr. Becky explains what's at the root of projection and how parents can break free from their own shame and self doubt and work toward repair, connection and empathy.
