Oh my goodness.

You have got a treat listeners today because it's going to be just me and Amanda,

and we're going to have a chillaxing show here that we are recording the day after the countrywide, no kings protest in the U.S., and the no tyranny protest in countries that have kings and felt a little bit awkward about the name of that protest.

So, hi, good morning, good evening, good afternoon.

Yeah, we've, we were, we had a plan and then we decided after yesterday to talk about a

couple of other things for a couple of reasons.

I'm not in the U.S. at the moment.

And I have dual citizenship, so I have lots of feelings about everything.

And I think because this podcast is international in a lot of ways,

we haven't talked about some of this stuff so much.

Like we've tried to kind of keep things on the normal as much as possible.

But I was so impressed with how everybody came together, like how massive amounts of people came together to

give each other hope and support and solidarity.

I was, it was really wonderful to see it.

I know that for anybody that went out yesterday and participated, if they were able to, thank you.

Like, that's huge, especially for those of us that couldn't or what weren't able to or had to go to work or had concerns about their own safety. So, like, thank you.

I, it was really, you know, I was not planning necessarily on going out. I think there is,

in general, in a lot of the circles that I'm in, which are admittedly very leftist circles, there is a lot of

discussion about the value of protest. And there are some people who are like, oh, yeah, like,

showing up is a really good idea. It builds community. It builds hope. And there's other people
