I thought you meant literal bugs for a second, and I had a worry. Well. Oh, no. Is that actually true? No, no, it's fine. My house is fine. The only bugs are on the screen that I can see. Well, today I'm so glad to have you guys with us because we are going to be talking just a big release.

We're going to be talking about Hollow Night Silk Song. We're

also going to be talking a bunch of board games because I just went to DomCon. And we'll

talk a little bit more about what that is. But, you know, without further ado, I'd love to

or just get into what we've been playing. So gentlemen, please, like, let us know about Silk Song.

Yeah.

So let me tee this up a little bit because I think the circumstances of Silk Song are interesting and worth thinking about as everybody is, I'm sure, talking about the game.

First of all, shout out to Team Cherry for getting one final delay by literally crashing every storefront on the internet when Silk Song went live because they didn't do pre-orders.

That was just like Chef's Kiss, wasn't even mad.

But Hollow Night came out seven years ago and very much changed the way people, I think, approached Metroidvania.

It's one of those games where you can feel its influence in that genre.

But there aren't really, I think, a lot of games that are like it.

Like, Hollow Night had this really peculiar smashing of tones

where it took, like, the grim,

Dark Souls, Gothic vibes with some incredibly cute bug vibes.

And, like, that's kind of an interesting place to play.

And that's still very much what they're doing in Silk Song.

But there are also, it's three people and they're notoriously disconnected from what's

going on in the world.
