And we're going to get started with the show in a slightly different order this week because there was some significant news in the gaming industry.

And we want to take a minute before we get into our gameplay discussions and our topic,

which this week is imagine genres, to touch on certain aspects of this significant news and

leading us down this particular alleyway is Rich. Please, if you will, take it away.

Yeah, so there's three big stories that happened that are I think somewhat related in gaming and worth talking about in whole

the main thing that kind of started the thought that we should start with the news here was that

SAG AFRA has done a video game strike. They have had a vote for a strike authorization.

And this has also happened against the background of the, of humble games being shut down effectively, as well as Bethesda and

Activision, both unionizing. So all these are three different stories, but you can see that there's

some similar themes in them. So I'm going to start with the SAG after news because that was the initial thing that kind of had me thinking about all of this.
