918, the third week of genre month. We're standing at the peak of genre mountain. We've just

climbed up to this genre peak and looking down, we've got a couple more genres on that side.

But today we're going to be talking about adventure games.

And we're going to do something kind of fun with that.

It's going to be a bit of a history.

But before we get into that, joining me today, Daryl, Amanda, and Aaron.

And it'll be up to you, the listener, to guess who is recovering from a cold.

Let's get into the games we have because there's a lot of incredible stuff.

And let me first preface this by saying we are going to talk about Hades 2.

It's going to be the last one that we talk about, though, because the first thing we're going to talk about also incredible.

Aaron, why don't you tell us about your experience with Animal Well? Well, let me tell you, I've had a lot of time to devote to staying in bed, taking cold medicine, and playing puzzle games the last week, week and a half. And Animal Well is one that just hit

PS Plus Extra. It's also available on Switch and PC. I think it might be everywhere except for

the Xbox platform. But this is a game. And I'm,

I want to bunch this up with Indica. I heard you talk about Indica last week. And I was champing at

the bit because I'm like, I want to talk more about this. But also it, these are games that

the more you say, I feel like the more it'll take away from the person you're trying to get to play the game.

It'll take away from their experience.

So I'm just going to very loosely try to describe Animal Well, which is it is a Metroidvania-like where you are a kind of amorphous blob.

You kind of look like a very pixelated Kirby.

And you are thrust into this maybe underground type well place.
