This is the Gammers with Jobs conference call episode 869. I am so excited to be here with Andrew and

Daryl. We have a fantastic topic, which is being a better player. And we'll let you ruminate on

that for a second, because first, we're going to do something a little bit different

for our games section. And that is because there is a big release coming out that we are not

going to be covering. So I just want to touch briefly on why we're not covering it. And no shade to anybody who does play it.

We're all no ethical consumption under capitalism.

You pick and choose your boundaries.

But I think by and large, the whole crew here seems unanimously uninterested in Diablo

4 as Bobby Coddick's Activision Blizzard continues to appear to be quite a

toxic place. The latest on that is a story from the verge that Andrew shared with the title

Activision Blizzard CEO denies culture of harassment and blames unions for company

problems. Of course, this is a patently ridiculous claim as the verge story goes into, and it does not

bode well for what kind of work environment Activision Blizzard has.

Now, we've all, not all of us, Darrell, I'm sorry, Daryl doesn't have the switch.

But most of us have been playing Tears of the Kingdom, which comes from Nintendo, which is also not a great company.

But I think there is a special kind of horror show to Activision Blizzard, which makes me very much not want to touch any of

the games that they're doing. So that's why we're not covering Diablo 4. Just wanted to touch on that

quickly and give Andrew and Daryl, if either of you have any thoughts you would like to share about

that, give you a chance to do that, and then I'll move on to what else we're doing with this game section.
