Hi. How you doing?

Hi. Yep, you and I, we're going to be taking on the game section this week, as well as our topic.

So our topic for today are gaming times that your

hobby has been paused. So the times that your gaming hobby has been paused, what were you doing,

what brought you back, and what caused that gap in your play? So really excited to get into this one.

Before we get into that topic, though, let's go ahead and talk about some games that we are playing right now.

So, Rich, what have you been up to?

I am playing Record of the Lotus War

deedlet in the Wonder Labyrinth,

which is a game with a very long name that is a Metroidvania style, closer to

Dead Cells, actually, I would say, than most other Metroidvanias, kind of like an RPG-ish

side-scroller that features a character named Deidlet, who is from an anime series called Record of the Lotus War, which is a series that I have not ever, I'm not familiar with it.

I gave a quick cursory internet search before the recording, and it looks like a

D&D ass anime series. It looks like it was probably somebody's D&D game that they turned

into an anime series. And when I try to read descriptions of that,

that is how it comes off. As a piece of, I guess, content that is from an IP that I am

unfamiliar with, however, deedlet in the Wonder Labyrinth is pretty uh, pretty compelling and, uh, pretty, pretty interesting, actually.

It has this kind of like pixel arty sort of graphics to it and the, the sort of secret sauce of it is that you are,

basically, I guess, deedlet is a major kind of hybrid character who can use a bunch of weapons
