Hello! We're recording this show at a time when my daughter doesn't have swim class, so I'm here,

and I have too much to talk about.

I'm so excited.

So that being said, our show today is going to be games, games, games, games.

So I've had a chance to dip my toes and a few things here and there.

Erin, you've had a chance to dip your toes and quite a few things. But the one I want to hear about

first is, sounds like an amazing nostalgia trip. Tell us about mixtape. Yeah, you know, I'm excited to

talk about mixtape here in a safe space because mixtape is developed by a team called Beethoven and Dinosaur.

And a few years ago, they released a game called The Artful Escape.

And Artful Escape is such a bewildering game for me because I, you know, that game's like four hours long.

Same with mixtape.

They're all pretty short, very authored games.

And with the Artful Escape, about two hours in, I was like, I hate this.

Wow.

Oh, no.

I really don't like this game. And then there's a,

there's a moment in the Artful Escape that is kind of sublime, has to do a lot with figuring out

player identity and how you want to express yourself and the rest of the game unlocked. I made a

video about it on my TikTok.

It's a game that is really near and dear to me.
