Well I folks welcome to another episode of the Survival Podcast.

It is Tuesday and it is also an episode of the Bitcoin breakout and so we have the Survival

Podcast Episode 32 97 Bitcoin breakout episode number 40. I've got a guest returning for his

third appearance on Bitcoin breakout. The guy swan, the guy who's read more about Bitcoin than

any other person you know, host of the Bitcoin audible podcast and into all things really cool

and decentralized today. We're not really talking directly about Bitcoin or even lightning though

that is part of the discussion. No, we're talking about Noster in Noster's future. I think there's

only a small minority of the people that are even using Noster right now that truly see the vision

of what it is to become. Rather than being a platform it is a protocol which means it is unstoppable

and unsensurable using relays which sort of kind of in a way function like nodes on a blockchain

but not the same but you can think of it that way it's a good analogy but it is a network of people

connected to each other to communicate in a way where they cannot be censored with an integrated

payments option. That means that you can instantly join, use Noster, use a client and immediately

begin connecting with people, communicating people and exchanging value with people. It might be the

kind of network you want to be part of. It's up to about a half a million users from my understanding

right now and a lot of them happen to be kind of upwardly mobile fluent people. The kind of people

you want might want to be involved in a network for a parallel economy with. We're going to have

Noster using clients versus what we think of as apps. Maybe the thing that literally eats everything

on your iPhone. You know over a year ago I had Guy on along with Brian Harrington from Choice and

we were talking about the future of Layer 2 and Layer 3 apps and I said I believe if you look

at your phone right now and you see an app on your phone and there's a potential to monetize the

network effect of that app. It will either be monetized in five years or it won't be there anymore.
