tuition and the savings, we started

with Katie a little late. I think she was

maybe four years old,

before we started her 529.

Oh, boy. Because I tell

parents now, not unsolicited,

but if they, you know, we're starting

talking about kids.

And I say like, start a 529, put something in it every month.

If you have grandparents and they want to give a gift, ask them to contribute to that.

We saved pretty aggressively and saved for about maybe an 18 month span after BCN ended when we couldn't afford to put anything away for a time, we put in money to our daughter's college fund every single month.

And pretty aggressively for the last four years where we ramped it up and was at least $1,000 like every month and didn't take luxurious vacations,

not driving a new car every few years of a save for this college education.

And after 14 years of pretty aggressive savings, we have just enough to cover almost the four years at the state school.

I mean, she got into other schools and we were really happy for and proud of her.
