Taylor, interesting show today, a lot of stuff to get to was there one Hall of Fame candidate who's ballot, who's candidacy that you were really focused on?

I really wanted Gary Sheffield to get in.

After last week's show and we played the clip of Xavier Scruggs talking to him about how, I mean he got dog dude like it is crazy

how wrong he's been done and for him to not get it out that really bumming out unfortunately

it should be a celebratory day but you know I think with the baseball hall thing we think about things like this which is a

bummer yeah did it surprise you because you know you weren't a baseball fan or you weren't a huge baseball fan

and you weren't working in the industry

when the Mitchell report was generated.

I'm curious to see if any of that,

and if any of that nuance sort of landed with you because I you know as you know

as you know anybody who's in the Mitchell report is now is like the you know has

the the Scarlet A on their chest or I guess the Scarlet S for steroids on their chest because they're in that report and yet the way that it was generated was so terrible and it has its long lasting effect on the you know the what it was it 89 players are in the report I

Truly had no idea you know when you hear that like oh they were named in the Mitchell report like like you said

That's that's a scarlet letter on you and the fact that I mean I had no idea there was any

nuance to any of this I thought that you know especially like when I was younger and this stuff came out

it's just like okay that person's you steroids and they cheated and that's sort of it and so now
