It is Memorial Day weekend. It's a time when I hope that everybody takes at least a few minutes to consider what that means.

The sacrifices made by men and women in our military through the years through the various wars, through the various actions.

And don't just think in terms of wars, think in terms of peace time.

Still giving up so much.

It was interesting watching a piece on CBS Sunday morning, which is actually a very good show.

They were talking to a gentleman who served in Vietnam,

and he talked about coming back and the spitting on soldiers,

calling them baby killers, and compare that with what our active

the military gets now when they return. Different sort of reception, thank goodness.

By the way, if you have not been to it, I just want to throw this in here, they did a piece on a gentleman who's 92 years old World War II veteran in there.

He is at the World War II veteran in there. He is at the World War II Museum in New Orleans.

If you've not made it there, if you're at all anywhere in the area, it's worth an extra day on your trip to go to the World War II Museum.
