We are talking today, obviously, about the shootings in New Town, Connecticut.

Horrific, horrible mind-nubbing, but not, as some of the media have said,

unimaginable.

Not unimaginable at all. because if it's unimaginable to you you need a better

imagination. We've talked about these kinds of things before here. We imagine

them, we think about them. We take steps

so that we, individually, can deal with them. If we're in a if you're a concealed carry permit holder or if you carry in a state where you don't need a permit

you probably have thought about what would I do if I'm in a mall and the guy comes in shooting it up? And there's no right answer because

the situation is going to change. But if you had a chance, if you could,, might be able to stop it. And other people have. They've been able to stop

mall shootings. They've been able to stop school shootings in the middle of the shooting with their guns.

They've stopped them with their guns.

So we look at this and say, know we do imagine that we you know the idea that it's

unimaginable it's like after 9-11 the government said you know we never imagined what that's

what we pay you to do. It's your job to imagine such things. The idea

that you would say, well, we didn't imagine something like this could happen in a school.
