Now, you know, I mean, I've been doing this for 18

years on the air and writing about guns for 40 years. You know, if you've listened for any

length of time about the tragic stories of people who are trying to obey the law, trying to do

everything right, complying with federal law in transporting their guns.

And then they're in either New York or New Jersey.

And even though they're doing it right, the gun is unloaded, no ammo, it's in a locked case.

New Jersey and New York don't care what the federal laws are, and they arrest people on very serious charges.

And it's quite frankly, it's a mess.
