I'm Tom Grashim it's gun talking, yes indeed. We do have a full slate for you over the next three hours

We're going to be talking about gun rights legislation what's going on in the news which of course is the major story

we're going to be talking about reloading and a number of other things actually. We got a full plate.

A lot of things going on and And of course, we have talked about the big story, continuing story for the last 20 plus years

of Conceal Carry, the growth of Conceal Carry over the entire United States.

49 States now have some form of

concealed carry Illinois being the only state that does not have that.

Starting off in Florida more than 20 years ago and something like 7 million people now have

carry permits and we have at least four states where no permit is required and

we still have this big issue out there we just had these two cases in New York City where a former marine and a

nursing student both were in New York City with their carry permits with a

firearm and tried to do the right thing went to to the Statue of Liberty, no I don't see, it was the Empire State Building and the 9-11 Memorial and went to law enforcement officers to turn in to check their guns, if you will.

Both of them are arrested and facing a minimum of three

and a half year sentence now both of them were able to cut a deal and not have

jail time but it points out the whole issue of the need for us to have reciprocity.

That is, your permit issued by your state should, just like a driver's license, be

honored in all the other states.
