I want to follow up on a conversation we had last week.

We had some people asking about self, we're always talking about self-defense with guns because it's a real hot topic.

As you know, gun sales are through the roof.

30% is one number I have seen. 30% of people buying guns for self-defense now are women.

Homicides just got removed from the Centers for Disease Control's

list of the 15 most common reasons for death, causes of death.

So we have more guns, we have less crime, gee, does anybody see a connection there?

But one of the things that we talk about, and I always tell people, look, you need to understand what's really going on.

If you have to use a gun for self-defense, it's like my analogy of throwing a forward pass, you know, three things can happen and two of them are bad. A lot of bad things can happen.

Now, you could say, well, yeah, things are already bad if you had to pull a gun out and use it in self-defense. True enough. And that is why we try to explain that you don't insert yourself into other people's situations. You want to be very, very reluctant to get involved with this, and then what

do you do if?

Can you buy insurance to protect yourself legally?

What do you do after the fact?
