you the latest information on the gun rights battle. And this is a long-term battle. Some people get

into it and think, well, what's the big deal? Well, some of us have been fighting this for half a century

or more, some folks more.

And we've been making really good progress, but it's because of the work of some really smart people who have a long-term view.

We didn't lose gun rights overnight.

And when I say lose gun rights, just let me give an example.

When I was a youngster, you could order a gun from Sears Roebuck and it would be mailed to you. There was no such

thing as a licensed gun dealer because there was no required license to be a gun dealer. There was

no background check. There was no paperwork. There was no waiting period in most places.

You just simply walked into the grocery store or the hardware store or the gas station or whatever,

and they may have a few guns in the back and you bought a gun.

And if you were 12 years old and you had made your money mowing lawns, you could go buy a gun.

And we didn't have any problems.

And then we have more and more restrictions.

We have licensed gun dealers and paperwork and background checks. It just goes on and on.
