Yes, indeed.

We're talking about guns.

We're the good guys and gals.

Everything from Olympic shooting to trap-skite sporting plays.

Of course, you can't talk about guns without talking politics, at least in the U.S.

It's very much connected.

And we've had a lot to talk about recently.

For months now, literally months, I have been talking to you about the ATF's programs, really two of them, Project Gun Walker and then the Fast and Furious program.

And, of course, I've been talking about the ATF for 15 or 20 years following what they're doing and writing about them in various national magazines that I either wrote in or

edited. So I've been down this road before. I am not surprised at what we're hearing.

Frankly, I'm only surprised that more people are surprised because this is not an isolated

incident and it is a pattern.

It's just part of an ongoing continuing pattern that this agency participates in.

There's a lot more to that, but let's talk about this specific instance.

We're talking about the Fast and Furious program where the ATF, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives,

came up with this brilliant idea of allowing criminals to illegally purchase firearms and illegally take them into Mexico while the ATF is watching.

And when gun stores would contact the ATF and say, look, I've got a guy in here who wants to buy

50 AKs or SKS's, and this just doesn't feel right, doesn't look right.
