Glad you could be with us having some fun today.

We're going to be talking about guns and gun rights and some new guns. We took out to the range and we're shooting some video of those with our, well for the new, well I say new, it's actually on the air now, gun talk television show running on versus did a bunch of shooting with small guns that was kind of fun found out what you can and what you well, at least what we were not able to do with small handguns. There is a limit to what you could do with those.

By the way, welcome, this is gun talk. I'm Tom Gresham, I'm your host. We gather here every week to talk

about guns and shooting in the shooting sports and certainly self-defense with guns but also competition with guns.

The Olympics, you know, shooting is the third largest event of the Olympics.

There are, we don't really know, 80 to 100 million people in the

U.S. who own guns, something on the order of 300 million guns in the U.S. and people own

them and shoot them for any number of different reasons. A lot of it is just because

it's fun. Ultimately, that's what motivates a lot of us, is that it's just a bunch of fun. But of course there's always

politics involved in gun issues. So we'll be talking a bit about that. We'll talk

about the the federal agency in charge of firearms regulation.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Bat Fee. And what they have, it appears, what they've been up to, it's not good, it's not good, and

it's in the process of blowing up, there are some that say this could end up being a watergate size scandal.

Don't know.

Certainly goes pretty high, at least in terms of what appears at this point to be a cover-up.
