Block and load, we are about to have a whole bunch of fun.

Not that we haven't been having fun anyway,

because we've been talking about guns and training and

all sorts of things and popular myths about guns.

And holy cow there are a lot of myths about guns and gun laws and the

one that seems to just still be there and can't get rid of it is commercial truck drivers are told everywhere they turn that it's

against the DOT regulations for them to have a gun in the truck.

It's not. And anybody, if you're a truck driver, anybody who tells you that, just say, show me the regulation.

What's the regulation? Where's the number? What's the law?

And they will just kind of look at you like the deer and

the headlights were like well everybody knows well no except that it's wrong it

does not exist this is one of those things that has been foisted upon commercial truck drivers by diesel truck driving schools and by

companies who hire drivers and they literally lying to them and put it in their instruction

manuals that this is a DOT regulation.

It is not.

There is no regulation that prevents truckers from having firearms in their trucks.

Now there may be a company policy, but that's a different deal altogether.

But there are a lot of them out there, and we'll talk about that at another time.
