As a gun owner there's probably nothing more important in your fight for gun rights than actually voting.

But who are you going to vote for?

I'll tell you what, Chris Cox from the NRA's Institute for Legislative Action is showing up right now to tell us who they're endorsing and why. It's gun-taught.

We're visiting with Chris Cox.

He's the head guy at the Institute for Legislative Action, the NRA's

lobbying arm, and also they're the ones that put out the list of endorsements for political

candidates and we are approaching, fast approaching, the midterm elections and a lot of

questions about how they go about that a lot of discussion online and other places and

Chris let me start out by actually probably the question that I'm sure you're getting more than anything else is what's the story with the NRA and Harry Reid?

Well the story was a lot of bloggers out there and some folks on the internet said that we were endorsing Harry Reid as

some sort of buy-off on a legislative issue and they were lying. They weren't

telling the truth and NRA members quickly found out when we made the decision

at the appropriate time and the decision at the appropriate time and the

announcement at the appropriate time that we're not endorsing Harry to read. Now the truth

is he has been helpful. Tom you remember when we had to save the American gun

manufacturers from all those bogus lawsuits.

He was helpful on a lot of those issues, but we look at the entirety of a record.

We were disappointed to say the least in Barack Obama's first two picks for the Supreme Court and

pray to God that he doesn't get another one but we were also disappointed
