Just had a guy called in and says, well, my drill instructor, when I ask him about our guns,

you said, it's a weapon.

Why don't you call this weapon talk?

Well, it's a good question.

You will find that people who have military

backgrounds and law enforcement backgrounds say weapons. Those of those who use them for sporting use

call them firearms or guns, because in my view, if you're using a gun against a person,

whether it's self-defense or in battle or whatever, it's a weapon. Of course, then again, if you're using a baseball bat against a person, whether it's self-defense or in battle or whatever, it's a weapon.

If you're using it for hunting pheasants or ducks or whatever else, I think it's a gun.
