The show is Gun Talk, and I am just delighted that you could be with us.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there, mothers and grandmothers, et cetera, et cetera.

By the way, if you don't know, gun talk is just exactly that.

It is a show where we talk about guns and shooting in the shooting sports and gun collecting and using guns for hunting. And sure, we'll talk about politics. I guarantee you we're going to touch on that a bit today because there's a lot going on. We'll also talk about competitive shooting. The Olympics. Did you know that shooting is the third largest sport in the Olympics? Probably not if you live in the United States.

I mentioned that to somebody last week. They said, you're kidding me. I said, no, it is. I said, really? I would never have known that. I said, no, of course you wouldn't because, you know, they don't really cover the shooting events and our American coverage. That's okay. We're talking about competitive shooting, trap, skeet, sporting

clays, action pistol, three gun, cowboy action, I don't care. Bowling pins. If you do it safely

in response to me with a gun, we'll talk about it here. Simple as that. If you're new to guns,

if you don't know anything about guns, this is a friendly place. I think you're going to like it here. We actually have people who call in and say, you know, I don't own any guns, but I like gun talk because I kind of like what everybody talks about, and I like the community that's here. And that's a lot of what this is. It's a community. It's a place where we're going to treat each other in a civil manner.

That means we all have to agree, of course, because that would be boring, and we don't do

boring very well.

I had a wonderful week.

Had a good time.

Went out to Olympia, Washington, spent a day with the folks at Olympic Arms, shooting some video for our guns and gear television series.

In the middle of that, we're out there in a beautiful Sunday day, and then the rains come, this being Washington State, of course.

And then the hail came right in the middle of the shoot.

So it's hailing all over the shooting range, so we take a little break, come back.

And then we got over to Salt Lake City area.

It went down to Provo and spent a day with the Liberty Safe folks.
