We are having a ton of fun talking about guns today.

We're going to go from the sublime to ridiculous, or actually we're going to go pretty deep.

We're going to go super geek. We're going to go to the kinds of things that a lot of shooters, a lot of gun owners don't even know exist, but it's really fun. It's an area that you may not know about, but it may interest you to find out what you can do if you're real serious about accuracy and about taking care of your guns. Worst case scenario, if a person only had a 4-10 shotgun, like a single shot, and all you had was 45-caliber ammo, could you shoot that through it if you had to?

This is one of those deals that, you know, I am, the question is, if you had a single

shot 410 shotgun, and all you had was 45 colt ammo, could you shoot it through there?

Yeah, you could, but.

And let me just add in a lot of butts here.

It would be a seriously bad idea.

Shotguns are not made to take the pressures.

The handgun, and of course, the 45 Colt round in its original configuration is not a high-pressure load.

But there are high-pressure loadings for it, But a shotgun is not made to take that. Also, a shotgun doesn't have any rifling in it. So now you won't have any rifling, so the bullet's just going to go rattling down the barrel and come out like a big old knuckleball, and it's not going to be accurate at all. So the question would be, I mean, in our,

this is one of those, let's just talk about, you know, weird scenarios. Could you do it? Yeah, you could put it in there and you could probably get it to go off. But the question is, why would you not

have 410 ammo with you if you have a 410 shotgun and you have 45 ammo with you and

you still got a shotgun with you.

You understand what I mean?
