Been traveling and look at new guns, new things, talking to gun people for you. And, of course, we've got the news of the week, lots of news of the week to talk about. Now, I was out at Reno at the National Association of Sporting Goods

Wholesalers Show. It's a show where firearms manufacturers meet with distributors. Now,

not with dealers, so it's a small show. As a result, you're able to spend a lot of time

with the gun manufacturers. And got to see some of the new things we're going to be talking about over the next few months.

For instance, Torres has a new line with the Rossi line, a new line of single-shot rifles and shotguns.

Think Thompson Center contender, but less expensive, very nice looking.

The Taurus, let's see, TCP, their little pistol 380, they say we'll be shipping shortly,

certainly by the end of the month.

A lot of other new things that we'll be talking about, some new guns.

Oh, I got to spend some time with the auto ordinance folks, car or auto ordinance.

Lots of fun.

They have the Thompson, well, we used to call it the Thompson submachine gun, which it was.

Of course, now it's a Thompson semi-auto gun.

It looks just like the submachine gun, but it's just a semi-auto. A lot of fun. And then along comes this email from Bill English, a friend of mine from Aviation Days. And he's telling me about this group that has popped up. Now, you know about cowboy action shooting, where you dress up like cowboys can go out and shoot. And then there's another group that dresses up, and these are the vintagers.

They dress up like they're from Edwardian England, and they have their double rifles and

their double-barrel shotguns, and then they go out and shoot.

Well, this one's called Zoot Shooters, and they wear clothes from the roaring 20s, and they go out and shoot the guns from the roaring

20s.

And they talk that way, and they have their, you know, names and all.
