We'll talk about guns. We've had a gentleman on from one of the gun banding groups on here earlier

in the show and that was a whole bunch of fun. One of the things he said is they want to ban assault

weapons. Interesting because of course you can't really come up with a definition for them.

He just doesn't like guns that were designed by the military.

Well that would include all bolt action rifles because all bolt action rifles come out of the Mauser 98, which was

designed by the military. And of course, civilians were using semi-automatic firearms 30 years before the military adopted them.

President Theodore Roosevelt hunted with a semi-automatic firearm that works just like the AR-15.

Now here's a little tidbit. I'm looking through, and bear with me because I'm going

to tie it all together, I'm looking through the golden age of shotgunning a really nice book by Bob

Henman way back here I see he's talking about the development you know back in the

1800s mid 1800s the mid-800s, the side-by-side shotgun was the one that was made in England,
