So glad that you could be with us.

I am Tom Gresham, your host because nobody else is crazy enough to do this.

I tell you what's been an interesting time. nobody else is crazy enough to do this.

I'll tell you what, it's been an interesting time,

interesting week, lots of stuff going on.

We've been out shooting some video for, well, actually two different TV shows.

So we'll be telling you more about that and what we've been up to and the people

we're talking to, things we're running into, lots and lots of news going on. But of course, in the actual

national news this week, we had the very narrow defeat of an amendment

by Senator John Thune from South Dakota, which would have basically would have invoked reciprocity throughout the country.

If you had a concealed carry permit issued in any state, that permit would have been honored

in all states in exactly the same way that your driver's license is issued in one state,

but you can use it in all states, in all states honor it.

That would have been what would have happened had that passed. It was defeated very narrowly by a good majority.

This is interesting. It had a majority, but in the Senate because of the situation that we're in right now a majority of 51

does not pass something you have to have 60 votes to pass something in the Senate

and let us at least if the Democrats don't want it to be passed.
