The one-year anniversary of the Heller decision.

Yes, indeed, we're going to have Alan Gura, the attorney, who argued the Heller case, which makes frankly all the difference.

Well, all right, and welcome again to Gun Talk. So glad that you could be here with us. I am, in fact, Tom Gresham, having a ball. We're on the road right now. I've been up in Washington State at the Firearms Academy of Seattle doing some video shooting for the Personal Defense TV series, working with Marty and Gila Hayes at the Firearms Academy of Seattle and had a great

time up there. We did some fun stuff. Oh, let's see, shooting, let's see, AR-15 carbines, shotguns,

handguns, flopping around on the ground, shooting from different positions, shooting moving

targets. Actually, I learned some things. You know, you go to all these schools and you think

you've seen everything they have to show you?

But no, I was learning stuff while we were there, so it was really a bunch of fun.

So we are actually, I'm between gun schools at the moment, having spent last week there,

and next week I'll be at gun site in Arizona.

And overnight they're actually having the weekend here in Portland, Oregon, Hillsborough, Oregon, staying here with my good friend Ray Elgin, and we'll have Ray on in just a little bit.

We've been having some fun, a little flight over to the Cascades this morning.

But at this point, let me do this because we have a very special guest with us right now.

I want to go ahead and get him in there because we have a lot to cover and not a lot of time to do it.

And, you know, of course, this is the one-year anniversary of the Heller decision, D.C.

versus Heller.

That was the Supreme Court decision that said, in essence, basically, that the Second Amendment is, in fact,

an individual right, despite all the noise that we have heard over decades where, well, it's a

collective right.

It means that the state can have guns.
