Good afternoon.

Welcome to Tom Gresham's Gun Talk.

I am Jeff Knox.

You might recognize the name.

My father was rather prominent in the gun rights movement for many, many years.

He passed away a couple of years ago.

And for the last four years, I've been running the Firearms Coalition, the organization that Dad created.

Have a background in radio.

Started out long ago.

It was one of the first stations to take Tom Gresham's Gun Talk when he first came on the air back in the good old days.

Shout out to all my friends back in Spokane at KSBN Radio and, of course, over in Portland, KBNP.

Glad to have you tuned in. Glad to be back on the air and very glad to be in here filling in for Tom Gresham.

Tom is, where did he go? Argentina or somewhere. I'm not sure what exactly Tom's up to, but I'm really glad to be up here and be able to talk on the program.

Today we're going to focus, in this hour, we're going to focus primarily on what's going on in Washington and what you need to be aware of.

We'll try and dispel some myths, we'll talk

about some of the important things that are happening up on the hill, and some of the not-so-important

things, because one of the aspects of the gun rights movement is hype, and it's a delicate

balance walking that line between too much hype and enough hype
