Well, hello, welcome again to Gun Talk.

I am Tom Gresham and we're talking about guns having some fun today.

You know, of course, we're always talking about guns and

safety safety safety, storing your guns safely, keeping them safely, handling

them safely. One of the things that I just got tell you, it irritates me when I hear people say, well, you know, you're not the

police.

Yeah, I understand that.

And I said, well, why is it that you don't want armed trained adults around you who could protect you?

Well you're not the police you know they have training.

Yeah. Well I'm not picking on police if you're a cop you understand exactly what I'm talking about here.

Police sometimes are the worst gun handlers I've ever seen.

There's probably not, I know there's not a week that goes by without some police officer shooting

himself or herself or somebody else or an accidental discharge. The gun goes off, right? charge.

The gun goes off, right?

Here's one.

Harris County, this Houston, Texas.

Harris County, Sheriff's Deputy, actually shot her, accidentally, this thing says, accidentally shot herself on Thursday.

I would say it was probably negligently shot herself.

She's in the middle of a marksmanship class according to the story. She was cleaning her gun. a

work She was cleaning her gun when it accidentally went off.
