Boy, we're talking about a lot of different things here. A lot of things going on, we've got some callers we're going to be getting to

got a guest coming up in just a little bit I have to comment on this story

Dateline Mexico City that'd be being Mexico.

More than 50 U.S. lawmakers, get this, Dateline Mexico,

city Mexico, Mexico, more than 50 U.S. lawmakers sent a letter to President Barack Obama urging him to enforce a ban on

importing assault weapons, saying many such guns are later smuggled south to arm Mexico's ruthless

drug cartels.

Okay, we have US lawmakers telling Baroc Obama he used to ban the import of firearms from Europe because they're ending up in Mexico.

Now what's happening is you got folks saying well it's all the guns in the

U.S. that are causing the problems in Mexico. We have these drug cartels and people

are killing each other down there. And it's the guns that are coming in from the US, which

actually come into the US from Europe, talking about the import of the military surplus AKs and that type of thing.

There are semi-automatic firearms, not machine guns.

So if it's the presence of the guns, that's the problem in Mexico, and you're having a thousand a thousand beheadings in a

month a thousand people with their heads cut off.
