Live from the Trigicon booth at the Shot Show, Tom brings you the latest info on what's new and what's hot in guns, optics, and the cool stuff you'll be talking about at the range. Now, here's time. Well, in matter of fact, it is the cool stuff you'll be talking about the range because it's the cool stuff we're talking about right here. We're at the shot show in Orlando, Florida. We're sitting in the Tuchikon booth. I've got the guys from Brownells here, Frank Brownell, Pete Brownell. We're having a ball talking about, well, same thing you're going to be talking to the range. The cool stuff, right guys? Yeah, the cool stuff. Absolutely. And oh, by the way, the shot show closed about seven minutes ago, so they will be dropping the walls around us. be, you know, forklifts will be backing up over. So if it sounds like there's a trade show being taken down around us, guess what? There's a trade show being taken down around us. It's been phenomenal. I mean, it's pretty unbelievable this place. Did you make the walk all the way from one end to the other? Oh, yeah. Yeah, we did. Yep. Yep. Yep. It's a long way.

It's a big show. It's a very big show. Those that haven't been, it's a fantastic show to watch. Go up, go on, and walk through. Okay. I want you to pick this up because you're talking about your AR-15 builder program, and that's really cool. It's really cool. It's a program that you can make your own custom firearm your own custom they are and you can pick from pre-made firearms

will fit like a socom or a tactical or a varmant type of setup so you know exactly what

you're getting and how you're how it's all supposed to go together right or you can

make your own all the way down to picking kind of springs and triggers. So you could start with a full gun and then use this as a pattern for customizing. Or you could start with the bare bones, here's the receiver, the frame with nothing else on it, and build your own gun that when you want to. Yeah, that's right. So, I mean, that's pretty cool. And you got it, it's all on the website? It's interactive there? It's all interactive. No, Frank. Well, I was going to yeah that's right so i've been it's pretty cool and you got it's all on the website it's interactive there it's all interactive no frank good well i was going to say that you know i'm the old guy in the group and not terribly computer illiterate and it's even because as we worked through what was going to happen it's even particularly handled handy for me i actually can make it work just like it's supposed to i don't want to to give you a secret, but he's our, he's our break-it-fixer. He's the Tex-a-guy. If Frank can do it, anybody can do it. That's the guy. It's a dummy guy, yeah. Oh, I would never say that. Oh, well, you know, it's just behind your back, right? It's nice to have a responsibility.

So what's going on with ARs and accessories at Brownells?

I mean, it's like you guys got the new catalog out.

It's a phenomenal market right now.

Anything AR, anything tactical is flying off the shelf or has flown off the shelf.

Has flown off.

Yeah.

And, oh, man. The shelves are somewhat bare at this point, I'm sure. They are. And the good thing about what Brown Owls and many of the people in the industry have done is we've built a great relationship with vendors and suppliers and people that are actually manufacturing these products to help them come along and help them understand what's going on in the marketplace.

So they're producing a lot quicker than they have in the past and a lot greater quantities.

So really the industry has also understood that everything's back order, will us have to be patient.

And they are patient.
