Hello, I'm so glad that you are here. Boy, I tell you what, I'm glad I'm here fighting

the, uh, fighting the inevitable post Christmas season cold

so if I sound a little froggy,

well make allowances if you would please.

Hi I'm Tom Gresham I'm the host here of Gun Talk glad that you could be

with us so we're having some fun today. We're going to be talking about well 2008

and 2009.

We're going to wrap up, put a big old bow on the year 2008 and talk about what happened then,

and then we're going to talk about what we think may be happening in 2009. We have a pretty good idea

actually. I have a host of people who are going to be coming through here. Observers, if you will, observers of gun rights, of gun products of the firearms industry as a whole,

of what's going on with the media and their treatment of gun owners, it's just going to be something

pretty interesting.

So we shall see how this is all going to work out.

You know, I guess the good news and the bad news.

You got the high and the low for sure for 2008 the high

being the Heller decision which of course is where the Supreme Court, the US Supreme Court ruled that the Second Amendment
