Well, welcome again to Gun Talk.

I am so glad that you could be with us today.

We have a full house, and we're going to be packed today.

Lots of stuff to talk about.

Yes, indeed, I'm Tom Gresham, and yeah, we're going to talk about guns. That's what we do here. And, of course, you really can't talk about guns without talking about politics. More specifically, gun rights. And I think it's important for us to keep that term in mind when we're talking about guns.

You know, you're talking about gun control or gun this, gun, that.

Remember, talk about gun rights because the way that you use words makes a big difference.

Just as we're going on the air, we get a call.

Somebody didn't want to be on the air.

Just said, I just want to thank you for talking me into joining the NRA.

He and his family have joined.

As you know, as soon as we got the results of the presidential election, I started talking about this.

I said, look, it's very simple.

I know that ultimately the battle is to win the hearts and minds of the public and to present ourselves as the reasonable law-abiding

people that we are. But, you know, sometimes when they're coming over the walls, you have to

fight with what you have, and I think we are looking at an assault. We're going to be having one coming at us in terms of gun rights.
