It's an important time for gun ownership in America.

We made a lot of progress over the last several years, especially this year.

This summer we had the Heller case.

The United States Supreme Court took on the case of the gun ban in Washington, D.C., overturned it, and most importantly, said the Second Amendment means that individuals have a right to own guns.

Very important stuff.

I can't even imagine where we would be if it'd gone the other way.

And I can't imagine where we'd be in a few months if it hadn't gone the way it did,

because if Barack Obama gets elected, I think we're in for a tough, tough time.
