Let me tell you, my name's Tom Gresham, and I'm the host here here because we call this Tom Gresham's gun talk.

We're going to talk about guns for a while.

We're going to be talking about, well, we'll be kind of open lines, open subject for this

first hour. There are some things I want to talk about, but if there are some guns that you want to talk about, whether it's a gun you have you want to tell me about, or maybe you've just stumbled upon this and you're thinking, hmm, we've been thinking, or maybe you haven't even

discussed it with your husband, but maybe you've been thinking about getting a gun.

But it's right for most people if you have the right mindset I guess you'd call

it. If you are committed to doing it right, to buy, you know, spending the time doing the research, getting the right gun,

obviously getting training, which is not the same as learning how to shoot.

A lot of people confuse that. They think, well I know how to

shoot. I've been shooting all my life. I don't care. You're not ready. What do you mean

you're not ready, Tom? Well, if you don't have training and self-defense use of firearms you're not

ready. It's as simple as that. I don't care if you can hit a mountain go at 400 yards

across a mountain. That doesn't mean you know what to do, how to move, how to stay out of trouble, how to avoid situations, how to get help, how to help your family, what to do if someone's inside your home, all those things. That's where training comes in notice I have not said
