It's time to saddle up and hunker down. Because I'll tell you what, we're going to saddle up. We're going to be talking about guns and shooting and the gun sports, shooting sports. And also, of course, politics. Holy cow, what a twist. What a turn. What a fastball. I'm telling you, the Sarah Palin thing has really changed a lot of things.

Certainly we'll be talking about that.

But it's also going to be time to hunker down because that's what we're doing as I broadcast live to you from Louisiana.

Yes, indeed you do.

We are looking at a big old windstorm coming our way, and it's fairly interesting to see what people are doing, how they react, and it's a chance for you to give some consideration to your emergency plans.

Do you have emergency plans?

Do you have emergency provisions?

And you don't have to be in front of a hurricane to need those.

It could be as simple as, well, tornadoes, fires, floods.

We'll go on and on, we'll talk a little bit about that.

And the question that a lot of people are wondering is, should a firearm be a part of my emergency provisions?
