Well, howdy, good afternoon, hope that everything's going well for you.

Well, it could be good morning, depending on where you are what time zone

you happen to be in I'm Tom Gresham welcome again to gun talk we're just gonna

settle in and talk about guns a little bit I tell you what it's been quite the

interesting week has it not the it actually it took

the second wave of reaction from the media to really get on board to see what

happened at the Supreme Court with the Heller case, the famous DC gun case,

where the United States Supreme Court came down really unequivocally that the Second Amendment is in fact an individual right.

Now I know it was a five four decision, but even in the dissent none of the justices said that they thought it was not an individual right.

Weirdly enough, they think it's an individual right, the dissenters,

but they think the governments can take it away from you.

Weird, weird, very hard to figure out. It's an individual right. It is a right

that you have. It is guaranteed by the Constitution just like the right against search and seizure,

the right for free speech, and yet they think that for some reason the government should be able to restrict or even

take it away from you.

There's a, they had this weird deal of balance.

They won't have balance.

They won't have a balance against social needs.
