We're having some fun talking about guns today and shooting.

Well, you know, if you have an interest in shooting in any form, this is the place for you.

I was reading a book, leafing through it very carefully, actually, earlier today.

It's a book by Leffingwell, and it's about wing shooting.

It was published in 1895, and I got this book.

It's one of the things in my father's effects.

And I opened it up carefully because I knew it was an old book.

And the first owner had signed his name inside the cover.

And my dad had signed his name under there. And dad had signed his name under there and dad had signed his name

and put the year 1970 and the first person who owned the book had put the date when he signed

it on there 1898 That's pretty cool.

First edition.

It's kind of falling apart.

We're going to have to see about getting it restored.

What was interesting to me, though, was how accurate the information was and how much they knew more than a hundred years ago about

shotguns and shotgun shooting and how absolutely spot on the advice was things like

shot size and choke and gauge and the loads you use, you know, they were saying there's no need to,
