Hey, welcome back to Gun Talk, having some fun today. Our number is 866 Talk Guns if you'd like to join us.

And of course, I'm Tom Grusham and you know, say what's this show all about? I'm not really sure I know.

But we sure have a lot of fun. We get to talk about safety and responsibility, talk about

personal safety and personal responsibility. Talk about shooting sports, shooting traps,

sporting clays, long-range rifles.

Man did I have fun last week.

I got to shoot.

I hit a target at 916 yards with a 308 rifle.

This is not a bench rest. We had a rock and we threw a pack down and we flopped that rifle over that thing and I had a spotter. I was up at Clint Smith's place, Clinton Heidi Smith, Thunder Ranch in Oregon in the mountains and just having a ball.

We were using a rifle made by GA Precision.

I never used one of their rifles before, but I was pretty impressed. Now, they're pricey, don't get me wrong. When you get rifles that will shoot a quarter minute in 308, you're talking about some pretty expensive stuff. But it sure does work and is a lot of fun.
