Welcome again to Gun Talk. I am Tom Gresham, your host, and we're talking about guns today.

And, you know, of course, we've got the Heller case, the D.C. ban, the gun ban is going before the Supreme Court. We've got all kind of things going on there. We've got Elliott Spitzer who tried to, well, basically tried to destroy the entire firearms industry single-handedly. Got slapped down by the courts, but in the process threatened and intimidated some of the folks in the gun industry, and I'll be telling

you a little bit more about that. Lots of stuff in the news, but, you know, we can't forget to

talk about some of the fun stuff. The fun stuff is shooting and guns. And, you know, the bottom

line is that shooting is fun. Sometimes we forget that. We get caught up in the political noise, the hubbub.

And look, all that's important.

Gun rights are terribly important, not just to gun owners, but to America as a whole.

I think the whole issue of gun rights is at the core of who we are as Americans.
