I'm Tom Gresham.

The show is Gun Talk, and we are having some fun.

Had Sandy Froman, president of the National Rifle Association. She ducked in for a few minutes with us. She's pretty busy, as you might imagine, getting ready for the midterm elections and doing some work. But Smith last week with her out at Gunsite in northern Arizona doing some shooting, it was an event put on by Smith & Wesson primarily. There were some other folks there, but it was a Smith and Wesson event called the Smith and Weston Invitational. And might as well just crank it up here. Joining me right now is Paul Pluff. He's the director of marketing services for Smith and Western. Hey, Paul. How you doing, Tom? You made it home, huh? Oh, yeah.

I don't know about you, but I had a great time, but I was tired. It was a long week. It was a long, you know, we shot a lot. Yeah, we did. It was a pretty intense week at that. Well, as they kept saying, the instructors said, well, this is not really a class. This is more like socializing interrupted by gunfire.

Yeah, but there's a lot of interruptions there.

But we had a lot of interruptions. Well, I don't know, but we had to, I don't know how much ammo we started out with, but we had to go back for more, and we were, we had lots of cases of nine and two to three. Oh, we shot them up, that's for sure. We did.
