Let's pick up Marty, line 5 let's see in Elkton. Hey, Marty. Yes, how are you doing, Tom? Appreciate you hanging with us. Yeah. Hey, uh, earlier segment, a couple people talked about the, uh, Hague convention and bulljacketed bullets. Right. Anyway, uh, the British Empire, when it was in full bloom, figured out a way to circumvent that convention.

What they did is they designed a bullet they called the Mark 7, and it was a long, pointed, full metal jacketed bullet for their 303.

And what they did is they put an airspace in there and filled it with aluminum.

And it made it stable in flight, but when it struck a humanoid, it caused all kinds of damage.

Hmm. Okay. Would that be consistent with the Hague convention?

Apparently they were able to get away with it. And, of course, the Brits had a lot of experience with religious fanatics and not handle them with their special bullets.

They used them, I understand, in World War I and got away with it.

I don't know how, but they did.
