thanks when I was growing up my best friend was a kid named Mike

his aunt and uncle lived next door to me. Mike's parents worked a lot and

his aunt used to watch him and he and I would get together and play a lot. His family was like my family

and he was like the brother I never had.

Of course, as people grow up, they often drift apart and fall out of touch.

But Mike and I never did.

He's still like a brother to me. And his mother was like a second mother to me. Her name was Annette, and she was always there for me, as was Mike. Mike's dad was interested in computers and Ham radio, and my very first computer was a Commodore Vic-Radio and my very first computer was a Commodore Vic 20

that Mike and his dad were done with since they had upgraded to a Commodore 64.

When Evescot opened in Orlando, Mike's mom took us together and helped cover the cause because my

family couldn't really afford it. And she also took me and Mike to Gatlinburg, Tennessee during

the summer and to Florida and in general treated me like a second son. She indulged

Mike's interest in the Macabre and thereby also indulged my interests. She

supported Mike and me as we went into the debate team together and we're in

band together through high school and Mike and I would have all night computer

gaming sessions and that would get us pizza and she never made us go to sleep early instead she would make sure we're able to get the latest VHS horror rentals

and helped us get tickets for movies in the theater and made sure we were able to

get to places when we couldn't drive ourselves.
