Hello and welcome into the latest edition of ESPNFC.

We have a whole lot of transfer talk for you coming up on the show today. Craig Burley

is here for it. This is me, K Murray, sat here in this seat tonight for it too. And we are

joined by Senior Football Racer for ESPN James Olly and former professional footballer and

fish chaser Jan Agar, the other top. Let's start with the news, though, shall we of Kai

Roberts who looks to be Arsenal bound and let's talk more about what that deal will entail

as well. We've been talking a lot, James, on this show about such a high price being offered

for this player and how he has been in demand by not just Arsenal, other clubs have been

looking at him too. What is it that has made these clubs, Arsenal in particular, so willing

to pay such a high fee for this player? Well, I think his technical ability is very good.

I think he's an intelligent player. I think some of his inconsistencies at Chelsea, you know,

in terms of his form are on him. I think he does have to take some responsibility for that.

But when you speak to people who are close to Kai Roberts, they make the point that he

signed for Frank Lampard, he then played under Thomas Tucko, he then plays under Graham

Potter, obviously for the majority of last season, Chelsea was just a team in a complete

state of flux, all these new players arriving. And so he's not really been able to deliver

his best form. The view at Arsenal is that he's somebody who, with the right kind of coaching

and in a much more settled discipline side, they believe that he's someone with the, we

go back to the start, the technical ability and the intelligence to fit into a number of

positions. And I think that's quite key. I was told by somebody who was close to negotiations

that one of the things that Arsenal said to Habers was that they see him not only just

being able to play as an A or as a 10, but there's a possibility that Arsenal are going
