and safe from children. On July 20th, 2005, a 14-year-old boy got a hold of his mom's gun,

and a nine-year-old friend would pay the consequences. So if you like your coffee hot but your

On July 20, 2005, three boys were playing alone in a Colorado home when some supposedly

harmless smack talk grew into something much darker.

According to a witness,

14-year-old Eric Allen Stoneman threatened his friends,

13-year-old Eric Ward and 9-year-old Taylor DeMarco,

that if they kept taunting him, they were going to pay.

The taunting continued and Alan left Taylor's home,

walked over to his own, and about five minutes later returned

with his mother's 22-caliber handgun.

He pointed it at the boys who ran into the bathroom to hide.
