Well, he held a press conference yesterday. He was talking about a range of issues, including

NATO, hostages, his wish to buy Greenland also take control of the Panama Canal. He discussed

Elon Musk, speculation about Canada becoming a state, lots of key different things. And I think

the most, I don't know if you want to call it shocking

because it came from Donald Trump and that means nothing should shock you at this point.

But he announced that he wants to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.

Okay. So let's talk about this for a second because I kind of thought that we were seeing a little bit

different Trump in the build up to him taking office and you and I were somewhat optimistic about

okay it's going to be a little different this time. What I've seen the past week seems like a total repeat of the 2016 to 2020 stuff,

where he's unfocused. He's talking about things that have no chance of happening. He's putting

things out there that just in no way relate to the everyday life of Americans. And we're not talking about the things that matter, which is how are we going to get the immigration

bill, the tax reform bill, the government accountability stuff?

How are you going to do this through reconciliation?

That is what actually affects people.

Renaming something to the Gulf of America doesn't help a single solitary

person. Greenland is not for sale. You can send your kid over there all you want. You can whatever.

It belongs to Denmark and Denmark ain't selling. Canada, not going to become a part of the United

States. Everybody knows this. Now, can you say that we need to get better trade deals with Canada?

Do we need stronger border security from Canada?

Sure.

But there's not one single member of Canada, the Canadian government.

Who's going to go for that or think it's a good idea?
