0:14.7	Greetings, everyone, and welcome to our time here together, Turning for Guidance to
0:32.2	Wisdom found in Guigo the Second's classic work, A Ladder of Monks.
0:40.5	In the previous session, the focus was on the fourth run of a Ladder to have in contemplation.
0:50.5	And we saw how by contemplation, Guigo means that point in the path that all the mystics
0:58.0	are concerned about, at which the sending up to the rungs of the Ladder of lexio meditation
1:05.1	and deep longings of prayer become mystical.
1:09.6	That is, contemplation is here in fused contemplation.
1:14.0	It's God accessing us with a taste of God's knowledge of God and a knowledge of who
1:22.7	God eternally knows and calls us to be hidden with Christ in God forever.
1:30.2	And this taste, this celestial taste, of course, is not in the full light of glory.
1:36.5	It is our eternal destiny in God because it's very subtle and innermost and delicate.
1:49.6	And we sense within ourselves too that it is a trist for the vast and true and ultimately
2:01.1	divine.
2:02.1	And so the question of Guigo is how to help us discern that this is happening to us, because
2:11.3	it's the onset of the status, sometimes it's accompanied by extraordinary things that
2:17.8	overflow into it, hearing inner voices or seeing visions and other things can happen to
2:25.2	us as psychological overflow, but in its essence it's innermost, hidden cell and delicate.
