My pleasure. So many folks will know you from your publications on issues pertaining to physician

assisted suicide and euthanasia or may have heard lectures through the

Thomistic Institute and elsewhere. For those who don't know you would you just

say a word of introduction, who you are where you're from, what you do?

Yes, well I'm English as my accent betrays. I was born in Manchester, England and I'm a lawyer. I graduated in law from Cambridge and then returned to Cambridge as a law fellow and taught medical law there before being lured to Georgetown

where I now hold the Rose F Kennedy chair in Christian Ethics in the Kennedy Institute

of Ethics. Right now I'm a visiting fellow back in the UK at

the very distinguished College of All Souls Oxford.

Excellent. Okay so we're spanning three time zones.
