We're delighted to have you here on our second installment of guest explaining which in addition to being a strange way of putting two words together and making a small pun on our name is also an opportunity to break open the conversation beyond the ordinary five friars who contribute for a variety of reasons.

One, we're not that interesting. Two, we also get tired of each, and three, you get tired of us.

So, as a way to add some leaven to the conversation,

we've had guests now for a grand total of two months,

so it's become a trend. as to yeah again break over that

conversation and add some new insights and some new encouragement to for you

the audience for you the listener so this week or this month we're delighted to have

Father Mike Schmitz joining us. So Father Mike, thanks so much for accepting the invitation. For

our listeners if you wouldn't mind just saying a word of introduction where you're coming from what you do who you are those types of things

Absolutely thank you for having me also my name is as you mentioned by the measurements. I am a diocism priest in Duluth, Minnesota and I am the chaplain at the University of Minnesota Duluth

St. John on campus chaplain as well as the director of youth ministry for our diocese.

For the last, I think the 16th or 17th year 11th position, and so it's kind of been, I think they just forgot about me and just keep doing whatever you're doing.

And right now I am washed out because I'm looking out at this gorgeous snowfall that we had a blizzard that last like basically 24 hours and it was insane it was crazy on my drive to my

parents places I am recording this or doing this conversation with you for my

parent my dad's house.
